BUSINESS LESSONS FROM THE FAILURE MUSEUM

Why do products, services and even entire companies fail? This  video takes a look at some of the giants that have fallen and tries to reflect on the all important question of ‘why’ they have failed – if you are in business yourself, there’s definitely a lot to learn from it.

Depending on your age and location, you might not recognise all of the brands but that doesn’t matter it’s the story behind the failure that makes it interesting!

This video is a little challenging so is more suitable for intermediate and above students. The vocabulary shouldn’t be too difficult (see VOCAB REVIEW below) but this (American) speaker is quite quick. Try and resist the temptation of subtitles, though – give yourself a chance to get used to his accent and let the visuals guide you – at least for the time first time. 😉
