13 WAYS TO CLARIFY WHEN YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND SOMEONE

Teachers’ notes

As the title clearly suggests, this video gives some useful phrases to get clarification. I used this video under the umbrella topic of presentations and it’s also a bit of a masterclass in signposting so you can kill two birds with one stone.

The topic is also useful for meetings, public speaking (dealing with questions or asking questions if you are in the audience) and more or less any conversation that takes place in a semi-professional context. In other words, it’s very useful!

Level-wise, it’s a very accessible video made my a language teacher and she speaks very clearly and quite slowly so you could probably go as low as lower intermediate.
